Xperience Hotels, together with Alltournative, the pioneer in ecotourism in the State of Quintana Roo - Mexico since 1999, have entered into a partnership whereby, our service and social fee revenue is donated through various initiatives in order to develop eco-tourist projects that will continue to benefit the economic, social and cultural development of various Maya communities.

Supplies are provided for parties and celebrations, transportation, hosting of doctors and teachers, mainly from USA. All these initiatives are of vital importance to the Maya communities as an alternate occupation to adverse conditions of the land which allows only for poor subsistence agriculture, doing follow up to the development of the Mayan children and the communities in general.

We work closely with four communities, and approximately 900 men, women, children and elders.

We work alongside the Mayan communities seeking to:

  • Increase Maya communities' income.
  • Create direct jobs inside the community and avoid migration of the inhabitants.
  • Improve life quality for the inhabitants.
  • Education of the inhabitants in ecotourism practices.
  • Preserve and rescue customs and culture.
  • Preserve flora and fauna.
  • Foment respect for traditional customs within the community.
  • Offer the opportunity of cultural and professional development to the members of the community, primarily focusing on children and adolescents.

Currently, the initiative supports three sustainable development projects involving six different communities: Pac-Chén, Tres Reyes, Punta Laguna, Rancho San Felipe, Chikin-Há and Kantenah. Your contribution is tangible and can be witnessed through our joint efforts program. The Children and adults of the Mayan communities thank you for your help and wish you a nice stay in our Xperience Hotels.
